Finally got around to some painting again this weekend. I started this one three weeks ago, but couldn't find any time t work on it since. Now, it's almost finished i guess. Sometimes, I have no idea at all about what to put on the canvas; I just mix colours, see what i like, throw some paint on there and allow all those happy little accidents to arise. For this one, though, I had the idea first. I wanted to depict titan Atlas from Greek mythology, who was sentenced to carry the universe on his shoulders untill the end of eternity.

Sketch done in Photoshop. I actually think it needs a lot more work; there's some major mistakes that need fixing. But hey, a sketch is just that I guess..
